Members of this site,
Okay, I've noticed some incidents on this site in some roleplays with god moding. My character has been a bit, and it bugs me a lot. For the people who don't what god moding is, it's basically roleplaying someone else's character. I've acted as Alexander Cain in some of my replies, because I am him, and I own him as a character.
(i.e:
Bella: "Hey!" Bella said, waving to christy.
Christy: "Hey," I replied.
"How are you?" Bella said.As you can see, Bella did not state saying How are you?)
I don't know who is in charge of this site or the admins, but hopefully all of this god moding will stop.
For replies, some of them are only two words long! Seriously, replies should be AT LEAST be one very detailed paragraph with seven sentences; not one liners. People we aren't in chat rooms my goodness! I know some of you write a lot, but for the people who don't I sugest writing longer replies and thinking of good stuff to reply to, and find good threads you can easily think up good details for.
(bad reply example:
"Hey, how are yah doin' sweet cheeks?" Brandon asked, noticing a cute lady walking past him.)
(two good examples I've written on another website:
1.Lunar lifted an eyebrow and her face, no expression showing. "Ah..so this must be the new understudy of yours, master." She smirked and shrugged. "Sorry for the intrusion." She walked over to the window and picked up her bags, and placed them near the door. She took off her cloak and placed it gently on a chair near her bags. Lunar sighed. "My god. Your apprentice could at least keep your room clean when I was away."
Lunar tied her knee length hair back tightly in a braided bun. She boticed her old apron hanging on a closest door. She walked over to it, put it on, and grabbed some cleaning materials. She dusted, did some laundry and such. "You, what kind of tea?" She asked sternly, pointing a spoon towards the boy, and one hand on her hip.
While waiting for an answer, she started some water, and got some cheese and bread out. Lunar was the type of girl who was quite formal, and loathed bad manners just as mutch as humans. She smirked, her eyes cold and dark. Even such of manner, she didn't mind this boy that she would soon be comrads with. Maybe, hopefully, he'd have to prove to her his loyalness to Valizh.
She scanned the room, and noticed Valizh's half open closets. They carried some wrinkled clothing and for and for some reason, she could smell a bad odor. My lord, more laundry then I did like two hours ago. Lunar did not complain, for she never did. She was taught not to do so. She picked up a laundry basket, threw all the dirty, wrinkled and smelly clothes into the weaved basket. "The aroma of many flowers and scents will never cover every bad odor," she sighed. Lunar constantly repeated her ajenda some say, and finally finished, with a plate of food and some beverages.
Lunar found a chair and sat quietly. She undid her hair and took off her apron, tossing it on the chair that held her cloak. Lunar strainghtned out her dress and somewhat of a smile, said, "Apprentice, tell me about yourself, so i know who I'm working with. You're probably wondering who I am. Are you not?" She had an accent, for which came from the multiple languages she knew. "If you are wondering who i am. I'm Lunar Moon, Valizh Rosenkreutz personal servant. I do his work and cleaning, and cooking. If you are ever hungry please tell me so." With that, she stayed quite.
2.Lunar put a rare sight on her face; a smile, one that was delicate and graceful like the wings of a dove. Yet of course, it quickly faded like writing on a chalk board. She stood up, her raven hair falling across the spine(back rest if you don't know what I mean) of the chair, across the velvet seat, and towards her legs. Lunar flicked a piece of hair off her shoulder and smirked.
Sempai? Sempai! My god! People don't have to be so formal!Lunar hated being foramalized towards to, unless if it was a lesser vampire or single haughty human. If it was a noble blood, she'd like it better to be adressed as if friends, but very few followed her rule, and continued calling her formally. She winced at such, but at least they had good manners towards such a female of stature.
She listened to every single word of this man called Hideki. The words soaked through her mind, gathering every bits of info which he said about himself. He seemed to look relaxed around her, which was good, since many feared her. She might look pretty, danty, vunerable; you're wrong! Many wouldn't think of thoughts once they saw her strength, making many run.
Her jaw dropped when she saw Hideki pour the tea. She smirked and walked over. Lunar picked up the tea cup, opened the window, poured the tea out, and placed the cup back onto the table. "That is not the right way to pour tea. Espicially when it is the black orange blossom flavor. Each tea has a certain way of being pourn." Lunar picked up the tea kettle, and did a stance that looked easy, but very hard to master. With a slight tip of her wrist, the tea came out in a gentle flow, as if you could the blendid colors of the orange blossom and the tints of wings of a black swallow tail butterfly.
Lunar placed the tea kettle back down and smirked. Perfect as usual, and people feared of getting in her way of her cleaning abilities and organizarion skills. She brushed off her black dress. The two men, who were quite dirty, looked engaged into a very important conversastion. "I shall leave you two towards ypur conversation. If I'm needed, I shall be outside the window with my flute."
Lunar walked over to her bags and pulled out a small flute. A flute made of pure glass, burned in her homeland and it was a crimson red. Lunar walked over the window; opened it, and sat on the sill, and closed it behind her. Her back faced the males, most of it being hidden behinf her hair. She played a soft tune, soft enough to bother anyone, and people were able to listen to their own conversations.)
Thank you,
Quinalla/ Alexander Cain
